Looking to use up your Qantas points and know the routes with the best classic reward flight availability in February? You’ve come to the right spot! We’ve checked the Qantas website to find the top reward options for February.
There’s a trend this month! You can leave Australia fairly easily… but getting home is very difficult.
Given many people are still on holidays, airlines know for certain that people are going to travel particularly in early Jan so there is little reason to offer reward seats when people are forced to pay with cash. Saying that, let’s explore what’s available!
Please note that while we’ve focused on Sydney, the search also includes flights from nearby cities like Melbourne and Brisbane, with similar availability.
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Queenstown:
One of the routes with the best availability for the month of February. Getting home has decent availability too.
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Tokyo:
Scattered availability throughout the month both to/from Japan. A possible option but not amazing availability.
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Los Angeles:
If you don’t mind spending 15hrs in Economy…. plenty of seats to/from USA in economy/premium economy over most dates in Feb. No business class though! You’ll need to wait for last minute releases.
Flight Availability – Sydney to Hong Kong:
This one surprised me given Chinese New Year! Plenty of seats to/from Hong Kong in all cabin classes!
Flight Availability – Sydney to Dubai:
It appears we are starting to get a lot more availability on flights to/from Dubai! Good availability both to/from in Feb! Just bare in mind very high taxes on Emirates.
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Fiji:
Great availability both to/from Fiji!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Taipei:
Scattered availability but possible! Flights to/from Taipei are possible if very flexible with dates!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Manila:
Getting to Manila is easy this month…. getting home from Manila is not as easy but one of the better routes with availability this month!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Singapore:
Very good availability to/from Singapore this month!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Santiago:
Not a great route to choose for Feb. Better options!
Flight Availability – Sydney to Bali:
Reward seat availability to Bali is good for the month. Availability getting home is also very good!
Flight Availability – Sydney to Bangkok:
Flights to Thailand have become available! Flights coming home from Thailand are still limited but getting better!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Vancouver:
Economy is an option but that 14hr flight is not ideal in economy… Most of these flights have stopovers too. Better options but possible if needing to get to/from Vancouver!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Honolulu:
If you don’t mind going via LAX, plenty of seats to/from Hawaii in Feb!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Seoul:
Plenty of seats to/from Korea in Feb!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Shanghai:
Surprisingly decent availability for the month of Feb!
