Looking to use up your Qantas points and know the routes with the best classic reward flight availability in November? You’ve come to the right spot! We’ve checked the Qantas website to find the top reward options for November. While there are many flights going out, coming back in November might be tough. But, there are some routes with good availability both ways! Let’s dive in.
Please note that while I’ve focused on Sydney, the search also includes flights from nearby cities like Melbourne and Brisbane, with similar availability.
Flight Availability – Sydney to Hong Kong:
This destination missed out last month as availability was poor but it has greatly improved since then! Multiple flights a day with Qantas & Cathay Pacific dropping seats! Business class possible for scattered dates! Getting home that availability is reduced to mainly premium economy & economy! A great improvement month over month none the less!
Flight Availability – Sydney to Dubai:
Finally reward seats to Dubai are improving! It seems the airline is dropping reward seats 2 weeks prior to departing flights more frequently. Great availability getting to Dubai in all cabins! Getting home is an issue though, very limited reward seats. If planning a trip, could always get a flight to Dubai direct and come home via another city (e.g Dubai -> Singapore/Jakarta/Manila/Taipei etc).
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Fiji:
Availability on this route to/from is as good as you can get it. Multiple flights per day, availability on a lot of the flights. A safe bet for the month of November.
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Queenstown:
Plenty of reward seats to/from Queenstown via Sydney in the month of November! Plenty of availability in both Business & Economy. Another safe bet!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Taipei:
Great availability in most cabins month round. Availability getting home is also strong. One of the routes with most availability in the month of November.
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Manila:
Decent availability to Manila. Note most of these flights include a stopover but there are direct seats scattered throughout these dates. Getting home availability reduces significantly especially in business class. It is a possible route though a little tricky to navigate!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Singapore:
British Airways have dropped a ton of business class/first class seats to Singapore for the month of November! Great availability to Singapore, some days have stopovers but multiple flights going each day means availability is positive. Getting home is tough though… very limited business class. Economy is ok!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Santiago:
Availability is possible to/from in November with Latam Airways but it is scattered. Will be a little tricky getting dates to line up but there is decent availability in November! Wouldn’t be our first pick but certainly possible to navigate!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Tokyo:
Availability not great… most flights via Taipei with a stopover… we would recommend alternative routes.
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Los Angeles:
Decent Availability to the USA mainly on American Airlines. Return flights home from Los Angeles to Sydney are very limited in anything business class or above. Economy & premium economy availability is ok flying home!
Flight Availability – Sydney to Bali:
Reward seat availability to Bali is pretty good in November…Getting to Bali in economy is fairly easy. Getting home is an issue on a direct flight as most have a stopover… While it looks like there is plenty of seats on the calendar some seats are not on direct flights and have a stopover… Very possible to navigate though!
Flight Availability – Sydney to Bangkok:
Great availability… BUT most of these flights have stopovers taking you to all sorts of random destinations first. Direct flight availability is very limited. Getting home has less options especially in premium cabins. If you don’t mind stopovers, then this route may work for you!
Classic Reward Flight Availability – Sydney to Vancouver:
Mixed feelings on this route… usually you can get direct flights but most of these seats are with a stopover in some nearby city. Still, a way to get there but not the most efficient. Seats coming home are ok, not great but doable. Certainly better options available.
Destinations that didn’t make the list:
Hawaii (Honolulu): Shows decent availability but it is on AA via LAX which is a very painful way of getting to Honolulu.
Seoul, Korea – Scattered availability and mainly in premium cabins with stopovers via Taipei.
Johannesburg, South Africa – Very limited direct flights but Emirates is now offering flights via Dubai in premium cabins. Only availability within 2 weeks to departure date and coming home availability is poor. Improving but still not a great option to navigate.
Rome (Via Perth) – Options on Emirates but not great availability….. there are better options.
That wraps up the list for Classic Reward Flight Availability in November!
